INFORMATION REGARDING FDIC INSURANCE:

FDIC deposit insurance has been permanently increased to $250,000 per depositor.

Bank of Alameda is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, all accounts earning less than 0.25% APR will be fully guaranteed for the entire amount in the account through December 31, 2010 and all accounts not earning interest will be guaranteed through December 31, 2013.

Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and seperate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.

Bank of Alameda is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
