4/11/2013 Remote Deposit Maintenance

Remote Deposit Capture scheduled maintenance will begin on April 11, 2013 at 3:00 am and should be completed prior to start of the same business day.

Users may be prompted to reinstall Active X Control at sign-on after this maintenance is complete.

 01/01/2013 Important FDIC Insurance Notice

Effective January 1, 2013

NOTICE OF EXPIRATION OF THE TEMPORARY FULL FDIC INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR NONINTEREST-BEARING TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS

By operation of federal law, beginning January 1, 2013, funds deposited in a noninterest-bearing transaction account (including an Interest on Lawyer Trust Account) no longer will receive unlimited deposit insurance coverage by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Beginning January 1, 2013, all of a depositor's accounts at an insured depository institution, including all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts, will be insured by the FDIC up to the standard maximum deposit insurance amount ($250,000), for each deposit insurance ownership category.

Running Internet Explorer 9 in Compatibility View

If you have upgraded to Internet Explorer 9 you will find that Bank of Alameda's online services including Online Banking, CheckFree Bill Pay and Cash Management work best when Internet Explorer is run in Compatibility View.  it is easy to put the browser in compatibility view, and once you've done it you won't need to do it again.  Here are the steps:

  • Log into Online Banking or Cash Management from Bank of Alameda's website
  • Click on the Compatibility View Icon next on the address bar

If you also use CheckFree Bill Pay, log into CheckFree by clicking on the Bill Pay tab and click the Compatibility View Icon again.  Turning on Compatibility View may or may not log you out of your online session.  If it does log you out, please log in again to resume your session.
